A Congregation Built
on God’s Word

You will find Jesus Christ at the center of all that we do. We are a family of believers in Andalusia, Alabama whose goal is simply to please God — worshipping Him the way He has commanded, through His Word alone.

We believe new doesn’t always mean better. Because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, we stay with the way God has commanded us to worship through His Word — not our own opinions, but His Word taught with reverence and respect.

Don’t you want to be able to point to the Bible and say, “This is why I do what I do in my service to the Lord”? That is what we strive for every Sunday.

  • Book, Chapter and VerseYou will see scripture behind everything we do. We never ask you to accept anything that cannot be shown directly from God’s Word.
  • You Can BelongGod’s people truly care for one another. You will receive a warm, heartfelt greeting and be made to feel at home — and welcome to come back again.
  • Grow in God’s WordWe offer classes on many Bible subjects through classroom study and home studies. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

Can You Be Wrong?

Paul lived with a clear conscience — and was still wrong. His example calls each of us to ask honestly: when we learn better, will we do better?

although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.1 Timothy 1:13

Week 19: The Long Lasting Influence of a Godly Woman & Faith, Baptism, and the Pattern of the New Testament

Across the book of Acts, a consistent pattern emerges: people heard the word, believed it, and were baptized. That order is not accidental — it is the pattern Jesus Himself gave.

[15] And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.Mark 16:15-16

Be a Jonathan

Standing for the Lord's truth sometimes divides families. Jonathan's loyalty to God's chosen king is a timeless pattern for every Christian who must choose Christ above all else.

He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.Matthew 10:37
